As written by GHH member, ghdiehard I have been a GH lover for a seriously long time. And though GH has always had it's serious drama, there were times when people laughed, cheered, had parties, enjoyed each other and when couples were in love and shared a scene...love, smiles, happiness. I don't see any of this anymore. Really think about it. What storyline right now makes you smile, makes you laugh? Every single couple on GH, has angst. All of them! Every storyline is sorrow, misery, death ... Continue reading...

As written by GHH member, flacaa6The thing I adore about Dante Falconeri is his sense of honor. The very first glimpse we saw of this storyline [involving Brenda] was when he was in a drugged state [due to Brook Lynn] and blurted, “we promised not to tell”, to Lulu. For me that was the first indication of his inner turmoil over what he silently carried for three years. Nothing EASY about it at all. In today’s flashback [11/9] he said, “I’ll make this okay, I promise”. There was t... Continue reading...

As written by GHH member, AsterI see alot of rants about Guza and his story/writing. I have to say I am enjoying this [Balkan] story quite a bit. It has lots of twists and turns plus everyone is involved in different/unexpected ways. From what we see in the spoilers [without getting specific] the revelation of the secrets will affect pretty much all of our couples from the obvious Sonny/Brenda/Claire and Dante/Lulu to less obvious Jason/Sam, Jax/Carly, Lucky/Liz/Irish lass and (I think) Pa... As written by GHH member, genhos63Brenda goes to visit Edward, that is wonderful, she talks about Lila
which is sweet, but let's get real here, Alan died in 2008, AJ in 2005
and Lila in 2004, so why no mention of them? Brenda loved Alan and AJ,
she certainly knows they are dead and their deaths are more recent, so
the scene was disrespectful to the Quartermaine history on GH. Why
wasn't Edward talking about Brook Lynn so Brenda will know she's in town
and maybe go see her-- but no!! ... Continue reading...

As written by GHH member, RooanneI'm wondering what it is most people want to see on a soap. From reading just some recent comments [in our forum], for instance, there seem to be more or less two "camps"; those who want their soap to be an escape, such as out-there capers with the mob and the cops, and those who want to see more 'real life' type stories, such as illness in the hospital and couples who are not always in angst.I like the idea of meta-awareness -- I guess you could say it wou... As written by GHH member, ShaylaSometimes it's just the little things that get to me. Yesterday, when Michael was sitting all alone at Kelly's, it broke my heart. I couldn't help but reflect on his childhood and all he has been through. My anger and disgust runs deep for all the adults in his life (and some have been and are my favorites) but I feel they have, and are failing Michael now. I remember all the lying and fighting between Sonny and AJ and Carly and Jason and the Quartermaine's and... Continue reading...

As written by GHH member, TVmom101Overall, I do not enjoy Epiphany. It bugs me to no end how she orders doctors around. Just ONCE, please, I want someone to put her in her place. I thought she was terrible how she greeted Elizabeth. That was completely unnecessary.Maxie and Spinelli: Good grief. Do we seriously need Spixie, part two? First of all, unless they are going to re-write Spinelli into a more mature character, then this version of Spinelli does NOT belong in any kind of romant... Continue reading...

As written by GHH member, TVAcademicI'm bothered...a lot...by the corresponding Lisa and Claire story lines. These are semiotic stories, not based on character but on symbol, and they therefore scream some messages that I think we, as a community of women living in a post-feminist world, should be philosophically concerned with. They are as follows:- A man's bedroom prowess can turn an otherwise reasonable woman into a vengeful demon;
- Women who put all their attention on their career have made...
