Catching Up with Brenda
Guza had the following to say in TV Guide:
"Brenda has become a kind of international supermodel and she is now the
celebrity face and goodwill ambassador of the ASEC Foundation, which is
the Alliance to Save Exploited Children. Adrienne's character, Suzanne,
is the director of the organization, and she and Brenda have become
close friends. ASEC is based in Rome but they do work all over the
place, including Africa, and we'll be playing off that."
In terms of her dislike of modeling, "[Brenda is] sucking it up and doing it for a very good cause, but here's the real
downside to this new career: Her work has given her a public face
and that'll put her in severe jeopardy that will ultimately involve all
our heroes in Port Charles. No surprise — Brenda will come fleeing back
to town and bring her troubles with her."
"Suzanne needs Brenda's involvement and participation and comes to Port Charles to protect her investment, but also to protect her friend. Only Suzanne understands the danger Brenda is in and the severity of the situation."
There is a connection to Franco that'll affect future story, but he is not the source of her problem. "But I will say this: The source of Brenda's problem is already on the canvas in a story we are currently telling...She is not romantically entangled. It's a bigger crisis than that."
"We'll find out some [of the folks in Port Charles] have been keeping secret tabs on her. She's somebody
who would be in People magazine — it's that level of
celebrity."
"Robin will be in a place with Patrick where she can really use a shoulder to cry. She will need her old pal Brenda."
Regarding Michael: Was He or Wasn't He?
Regarding the possible rape of Michael a network rep told TV Guide Magazine that the show wants viewers to make up their own minds about what's happening to Michael. However, GH headwriter Guza now has more to say on the subject.
Guza states, "I have never confirmed that he was and I'm not about to. Our focus right now is on the horrific experience of an 18- or 19-year-old who is thrown into a terrible situation like this. I just didn't want to make the story more specific at this point. However, that's not to say that I won't be getting very specific down the line. This situation is going to rear its ugly head in a big way and Michael is going to have to deal with it. This is a story that needs to be parceled out...Look, Michael is a very good-looking young man whose father is the John Gotti of Port Charles. He's not going to spend 10 minutes in prison, much less a month, without getting unwanted attention. It would be dishonorable—and at the very least candycoating—for us not to see that through. But that doesn't mean we have to do the entire story—bam!—all at once...

Sam and Jason survive a shootout and later must survive a burning cabin.
After Robin gives him the boot, Patrick moves in with his brother, Matt.
Robin and Patrick agree on arrangements for him to see Emma.
Lisa makes it seem that Robin is the one who is unbalanced, then she manages to draw Matt into the scheme. Worse, Robin makes a scary discovery that proves how dangerous Lisa really is!
Robin and Patrick's marriage is in big trouble, but they form a united front when it comes to the threat Lisa poses to Emma. Jason says that "Lisa is doing a great job of playing like she's Miss Innocent - not doing anything wrong - and making Robin look crazy. The only thing that they can do right now is be a team to protect their family and see if they can get her to incriminate herself." Regarding the Patrick/Robin alliance: "It doesn't mean she's [Robin] forgiving him by any means! There's definitely a big wall between them, but they're trying to work together."
Week of August 30th
8/30 Carly comes face to face with Lulu who confronts her with paying Brook to bed Dante..
Sonny makes plans to ditch everything for Rome.
Lisa tries to incriminate Robin in her staged car/pedestrian accident;
she approaches Lucky claiming that Robin tried to kill her.
8/31 Carly's confession shocks Lulu.
Lulu is blown away when Carly tells her the truth, how she has nothing but hatred for Dante as well as for Lulu for not standing behind her family.
Dante learns of Sonny's betrayal.
Lucky, Jason and Sam are caught in a fire at the cabin but manage to escape.
Robin confronts Lisa.
9/1 Tracy catches Brook Lynn trying to rip off Edward.
Robin tells Nik that he did the right thing in letting Liz go.
Olivia is sitting vigil at his bedside when Johnny finally opens his eyes.
9/2 Suzanne again encourages Brenda to head to Port Charles.
Nikolas offers Brook a haven.
Olivia and Michael pressure Johnny to do the right thing.
Carly makes an interesting request of Jax regarding Brenda;
she wants him to rescue Brenda himself in Rome before Sonny can get to her.
9/3 Jason reassures Sam that she is the only woman he loves after she questions him about Brenda.

Brook Lynn heads to Dante's apartment and comes clean with Lulu.
Carly manages to ensure that Brook takes the fall, instead of herself, and turns the tables on Lulu.
With no other options, Brook decides to move in with the Quartermaines but it doesn't last when Tracy catches her with her hand in the cookie jar.
Brook desperately needs a place to live, money and some sort of stable environment. Yet, she wants her independence and isn't willing to listen to anybody. It turns out that she really is suffering from panic attacks. She can't think- she is flailing and spinning out of control.
Cue Nikolas, umbrella in hand, who comes upon Brook walking in the rain with her suitcase.
Brook Lynn is dazzled by the Wyndemere; she confides in Nik about her previous deal with Carly.
Nik offers Brook a job---escorting him to a charity function.
Olivia hears Johnny lying to Claire about being unarmed.
Olivia believes Sonny.
Dante testifies at Sonny's bond hearing that he is not a flight risk.
Claire warns Sonny against skipping out on his bail.
With the walls closing in, Sonny decides his best bet is to skip town and head for Rome. Maurice says, "In prison, he'll die. He'll be killed, no doubt. If he could go away, he thinks it'll be better for everyone!".
Sonny arrives in Rome and begins looking for Brenda.
After speaking with Diane, Jason realizes Sonny has fled;
he is sure Sonny picked Rome in hopes of finding Brenda.
Sam overhears Jason ask Spinelli to uncover anything he can find on Brenda.
Later, Jason confides in her that he fears he won't be able to help Sonny out this time.
After Carly refuses to pay Brook, she doesn't even have enough money for a bus ticket back home.
Brook admits the truth to Nikolas.
Nik's rescue of Brook is a mutually beneficial arrangement. Brook needs money and Nik needs a female escort for some business deals he is in the midst of, a la "Pretty Woman".
Murphy calls off his engagement with Brenda.
Michael comforts Kristina after the kids learn from Carly that Sonny has taken off,
possibly forever, without saying goodbye.
Dante tries to help out his siblings.
Dante recruits Jason and Spinelli's assistance to help find Sonny.

Robin moves out with Emma.
9/8 Brenda tells Sonny that she is engaged to Murphy Sinclair
Patrick and Robin work together to deceive Lisa.
Dante and Lulu make love.
As part of their plan, Patrick lets Lisa know that Robin has left him.
Sam overheard as Jason asks Spin to find out what he can about Brenda.
9/9 Patrick leads Lisa to believe that Patrick is now available.
In order to help Robin and Patrick, Maxie drops a hint to Lisa that Robin and Emma are in the park.
Lisa arrives in the park; Robin and Patrick have a fake fight to convince Lisa their marriage is over.
Johnny and Olivia make a move towards reconciliation.
Sonny returns to Port Charles.
Nik wants Alexis to help Brook learn that "the rain in Spain falls mainly on the plain".
9/10 Jason and Dante are convinced Ronnie disposed of Johnny’s gun and set out to prove it.
They find a construction worker who has cell phone footage confirming Johnny pulled what looks like a gun on Sonny proving Sonny fired in self-defense.
Suzanne demands that Brenda return home.
Sonny turns himself in.
Robin and Patrick hope their plan has succeeded.
Lucky accepts his new assignment from Interpol.
Nikolas, "finds [Brook] funny and charming, and of course, she's also beautiful and sophisticated and elegant, and he just saw an opportunity." Tyler Christopher explains in SOW that he asks Alexis to help refine Brook Lynn for a specific event during which he hopes to impress his business partners. Alexis thinks its a really bad idea and she encourages Brook to get the heck out of dodge.
For Nikolas, with Liz gone, it helps fill a void, "I think that he's intrigued by [Brook] enough that he's willing to see this thing through, but I don't think he's at the point yet where he's considering anything romantic."
Lisa doesn't boil a bunny, but she does boil something else (non-organic, but disturbing);
Robin makes the horrifying discovery in the lab. Poor, defenseless toy!
Robin slaps Lisa.
Lisa manipulates another physician.
Robin is suspended; later Steve realizes how unstable Lisa is when he
overhears her trashing Robin to Maya.
Carly tries to seduce Jax.
Tracy admits to Lucky that she misses Luke.
Matt wants a real relationship with Maxie.
Sonny confesses to Brenda that he is on the run.
Sonny opens up to Brenda and tells her about Dante being his son, including the fact that he shot him and about their strained relationship. He discusses all the pain he has brought to his children's lives. Sonny tells Brenda he would run away with her if she as much as hinted that's what she wanted. Brenda insists he should return and face the charges against him for the sake of his children. Although it is extremely hard for him to do, Sonny kisses Brenda (on the forehead), and then turns and walks away from Brenda, once again leaving her in the rain.
Soon after Sonny leaves, Brenda is attacked again.
Brenda has a long talk with Murphy, and their engagement is called off.
Suzanne worries about Brenda's safety and will soon reach out to someone in Port Charles on her behalf.
Lucky meets with Agent Bates.
Regarding the future of Patick and Robin, Kimberly McCullough explains in SID that, "It should not be assumed that Robin will forgive Patrick. Honestly, it this were me, my marriage would be over. Period. So that should at least be a possibility. Just because they are married does not mean that everything is going to be okay. Robin doesn't know what to do. She is trying to take it all in. What I would like to say to the fans is that both Jason [Thompson] and I are keeping the integrity of our characters. We're not going to be like, 'Oh it's cool you slept with Lisa. No biggie'. That's not keeping the integrity of the characters either. So if they could be a little patient and go along on the journey with us, Jason and I will both be true to everything that has happened so far."
Week of September 13th
9/13 Suzanne asks Jason to come to Rome.
Claire admits she has real feelings for Sonny.
9/14 Carly accuses Jax of thinking about Brenda while they make love.
Sam's insecurities regarding Brenda continue.
Kate advises Jax to make a play for Brenda;
Sonny is exonerated.
9/15 Nikolas and Brook Lynn grow closer.
Michael has an incident at school. Another student, Krisitna, and the principal will be involved.
Lucky meets Siobhan.
9/16 Robin, Patrick and Steve continue their efforts to expose Lisa.
9/17 Lisa overhears a conversation in which Patrick admits how much he misses Robin.
It looks like Steve, Patrick and Robin may have underestimated Lisa; she could be more twisted than any of them imagined.
Claire has her way with Sonny, or vice versa, in bed.
While Sonny tries to distract himself with Claire, Brenda is dolled up in a wedding gown, unable to keep her mind on the present.
Lucky assumes the identity of Ronan O'Reilly.

Look for Lucky to run into problems while posing as the criminal Ronan;

Quartermaine door again?" Not well. Luke will end up enlisting Ethan and Maya's help to try to get Tracy to talk to him. It should be a fun and poignant arc.
"Let's not assume that Robin's HIV status is something that has just gone away." hints Guza.
Robin becomes delirious, cue Stone.
This fall, Alexis and Mac continue their flirtation and deal with their kids' issues.
Carly's vendetta against Dante and Lulu blows sky high in the coming months.
