Rumorville: Alexis is hindered from giving due diligence to the investigation surrounding the death of the Mayor's mistress. The Mayor threatens that he will reveal that Alexis slept with him in order to hold on to her position as District Attorney! Alexis is worried that if this became public that it would only add to the problems she is having with her wild child of a daughter. In other words, the Mayor's fate and Alexis' become intertwined.
