Rumorville: Here is an excerpt from the audition script. From the sounds of it, it looks like "Hannah" is Sam and the scene takes place in Kelly's.
Hannah: So what brings you to Port Charles? Family? Matthew: Possibly.
I've been here before but the older I get, the more I realize there are
questions in my life that I'm lacking the answers to and the only place
I'll seem to be able to get them is in Port Charles. Hannah: Ah. Another person searching through life looking for answers?
Rumorville:
Looks like the roles of Christina (Lucy's adopted daughter), and Tiffany and Sean's
daughter are being cast, also possibly a recast Kristina Davis, and a
few other young roles (including, perhaps, another male teen and...Lucas
Spencer). Serena Baldwin also remains a possibility on the horizon.
Also hearing that a 30 something male is being cast.
Rumorville: It is looking more and more likely that Bryan Craig is the NUMorgan (see previous post). He has taped with Michael, Sonny and Shawn thus far.
It looks like Kristen Alderson (formerly Starr Manning) may be playing Serena, Scott Baldwin's daughter with his late wife, Dominique. Lucy Coe was their surrogate when Dominique was dying of an inoperable brain tumor. Alderson has reportedly been taping scenes with Scott (Kin Shriner).
Rumorville: According to soap journalist, Nelson Branco, John Stamos (Backie Parrish) is back on General Hospital and has been taping for a while now. Stay tuned...

Rumorville: Word is that Julie Marie Berman is looking to do other work, but thus far she remains on the fence about staying or going. The casting call previously mentioned on ourGH Newspage for "Erin" that sounded like Lulu, is for Lulu. However, although several women have read with Dominic Zampragno, no one has yet been cast. It is also possible that Berman may extend her contract by a few months in order to give Lulu a send off.
Rumorville: Word is that Carly Schroeder may be reprising the role of Serena Baldwin on GH. We last saw Schroeder on GH in 2001. Lucy Coe was her surrogate mother, having carried her for Scott Baldwin and his dying wife Domnique [Taub]. Several years later, on Port Charles, Lucy adopted her. Serena,
the heiress to the massive Taub fortune, was said to be studying in

Rumorville: All three characters, and the actors who play them will remain on GH through February sweeps. It is being reported that, "Prospect Park realizes these three characters could initially help draw fans to the new One Life. There are ongoing talks between ABC and Prospect Park about the characters returning to General Hospital at some point, which could be fine with [Prospect Park] as they eventually want to go much younger with their soaps"

Rumorville: Some are saying that Tony Geary will be making his swan song (exiting GH) during GH's Anniversay (April). He is expected to begin taping again soon.
Look for a re-visit of the infamous Ice Princess Story.
Another Cassadine may be resurrected.
As
mentioned previously, Robin is expected to return to Port Charles
during the Nurse's Ball. She supposedly "escapes" much like Helena once
allowed Laura to "escape" from Cassadine Island years ago.

Rumorville: Ever since fans learned that Steve Burton (Jason Morgan)
sold his home and moved his family to Tennessee, fans have been
wondering what the future holds regarding Burton's tenure with General
Hospital. During the GHFCW, he mentioned he was waiting to hear more on a
project outside of GH.
His contract is up in September and now it
appears, at least according to some in the know, that Burton and GH may not be

Rumorville: Its looking like Lucky is leaving Port Charles...but Jonathan Jackson is not. It seems our previous rumors regarding JJ playing the REAL Ronan are coming to fruitition. While Lucky goes to Ireland, it is Ronan who will make his way to Port Charles. How long before his friends and family notice that this Lucky is not THEIR Lucky? Ronan O'Reilly will be involved with Johnny Zacchara, among others.
Rumorville: In this week's CBS SID, Genie Francis appears to have confirmed that despite the speculation that has been floating around the net, she is sticking with The Young and The Restless and has no plans for a return to General Hospital any time soon.

Rumorville: Look what I found! Actress Lilah Richcreek's audition tape for the GH role of "Gina Solieta", the only daughter of a NY Crime boss. In this scene she is talking to "Johnny", the son of rival gang members who she has a not-so-secret crush on, about putting a hit out on her father. Is her vague similarity to Lexi Ainsworth in appearance, as well as the conversation in the scene, a mere co-incidence...or NOT? Watch and decide for yourself.

Rumorville: Rumors about Tamara Brown returning to GH (in another role, not as Carly) continue going strong, but nothing solid yet.
Speculation is running rampant that Jason Cook (Matt Hunter) may leave GH for his old role at DOOL, per SID.However, this has not been confirmed by reliable sources.
Rumorville: Apparently GH is casting the recurring role of Javier, who is hispanic, early 30's, sexy intense, dangerous and charasmatic. (It is said to be short term, 2 to 4 weeks, at least for now.)
In other news, rumors continue that General Hospital may be on the chopping block for the fall of 2012. The only thing that seems certain is that a decision will be made either way by February of 2012. Meanwhile, GH is facing some deep budget cuts.
Rumorville: Despite rumors of One Life to Live's pending cancellation, SOD is reporting that Roger Howarth (the original Todd Manning) will begin filming scenes on the daytime drama beginning

Rumorville: There is apossibility that newcomer, Shawn, (seeNews andSpoilers) may have an affiliation with Theo.
Head writer, Bob Guza, denied rumors that Vanessa Marcil Giovinazzo is leaving GH. In SID, he states that as far as he knows she will be around until at least the end of her one year contract. He also affirms that Theo will be around through May.
Rumorville: After Sonny and Brenda have a misunderstanding, Brenda turns to Dante and Dante shuts her down cold by telling Brenda that he loves Lulu. Look for a shift in writing in the latter half of February.

In early February, Sam begins to experience symptoms of pregnancy....it will be confirmed before the end of the month.

Rumorville: Following up on our Rumorville item of December 8th, gossip says that not only is Vanessa Marcil Giovinazzo leaving GH sooner than thought, but that she is pregnant! Her exit is said to be a mutual decision.Vanessa's likely departure coincides with the rumored story that Brenda disappears within days of her wedding to Sonny! Brenda, the character, will not be pregnant. Take with a huge grain of salt.
Rumorville: There is chatter that Vanessa Marcil (Brenda) may exit the show in a few months time... Rumors persist that both Brandon Barash (Johnny) and Lisa LoCicero (Olivia) are on their way out, although at differents points in time.
Regarding the bus accident mentioned below-- it could turn out to be a realCliff-Hanger...
Rumorville: According to Nancy Lee Grahn, she might have a big surprise. She hints that it could involve her character, Alexis, and someone who is very compelling. She can't reveal more right now, but says the potential is huge. (Hmmm...the evil Balkan perhaps? Could he be Sam's father?)
Unfortunately, other than a short scene she has coming up with Claire, we won't see Alexis again until the third week of October. So whatever the huge surprise is, it likely is a winter storyline.
Rumorville: Tyler Christopher's tweet earlier this month indicating that next year's GH Fan Club Weekend will be his last has speculation running rampant that he may leave GH when his contract expires next June.
Rumorville: In a recent interview, TVGuide asked Michael Sutton (Stone), who is already making a brief return this month, if there is any truth to the rumor that he might return to GH yet again to counsel a certain mobster. Sutton replied, "Yeah, they've certainly left it open for Stone and Sonny to have some conversations. I like the idea, because it's a setup that's not cheesy."

He will be joining ex-GH cast members Jon Lindstrom and Lynn Herring who currently play Craig and Audry on the soap. Look for him to make his debut in September.
