WillGeneral Hospitalfans acceptMichael Easton,Roger HowarthandKristen Aldersonin brand new roles? They might have to!
Multiple sources tellTV Guidethat the trio of formerOne Life to Livestars — who've been embroiled in a tug-of-war between ABC and Prospect Park, the company that's producing the upcoming OLTL reboot — will soon return to GH after being forced to vacate the show for several weeks.
But here's the kicker: It seems we'll no longer seeEastonas John McBain...
Rumorville:Michael Easton (John McBain) posted the following to his Facebook page:
THANK YOU... I heard a rumor of some
lovely people who were going to stop by the studio for a certain riff
raff's birthday. Some others who wanted to deliver a cake. Even more
wonderful folks who wanted to send cards and treats and I want you to
know I am incredibly humbled by these gestures but unfortunately I will
not be around to enjoy them. I've been informed, that due to some
ongoing legal this and ... Continue reading ...

Rumorville: Why did Ron Carlivati, head writer, make a strange tweet referring to David Vickers- a character from both OLTL and AMC- as a dog? LOL, cause he certainly was! Vickers was played by Tuc Watkins, who also appeared on GH as Pierce Dorman.
Robin Strausser (ex-Dorian, OLTL)
was wondering if that might have something to do with Vicker's past in
Turkish prisons (re: Duke?). Speculation...or something more?

Rumorville: There is a possibility that Kassie DePaiva
(Blair Manning) could be staying on longer. Word is that she may have
been given a contract. Also, a recent message left by DePaiva on her facebook page lends even more credence:
"Looks like Todd and Blair are getting around!!!! I hope you like what you see!!! If so... There might be more!!!!"
Rumorville: Rumors are growing stronger that ABC has received offers from other networks to purchase All My Children and One Life To Live and has declined to sell both shows. This, despite their previous, public, assurances that they would be more than willing to sell the two productions. If true, the question is why?
say it is because they don't want egg on their face should these shows
go on to success elsewhere. Others say that they want to keep the shows
(OLTL in particular) ...
Rumorville: Wishful thinking...or not? According to the NY Post:
"ABC Daytime honcho Brian Frons is in hot water over the cancellation of One Life to Live and All My Children,
sources said. After Hoover announced it will yank ads over the soap
axing, other advertisers like Hershey’s and L’Oreal are getting heat
from consumers to pull ads. Insiders are pointing at Frons, with
whispers he may be in his final days.
Rumorville: "....sources indicate there’s
a strong chance that ABC will put a network daytime slot on the table
when the bidding for [Katie Couric's new talk show] begins in earnest as she sets her segue from
The CBS Evening News. It’s no secret that ABC intends to pare down its three-hour slate of daytime sudsers (All My Children,General Hospital and One Life to Live)
in the coming years."
"A Couric show could be a high-profile transition
for the Alphabet in one of the time slots ... Continue reading ...
Rumorville: Despite rumors of One Life to Live's pending cancellation, SOD is reporting that Roger Howarth (the original Todd Manning) will begin filming scenes on the daytime drama beginning
in May. "I am looking forward to returning, We are going to have a lot of fun telling this story and I am excited
to see how it will unfold." The story involves
Tea's brother Tomas (Ted King),, ex-Lorenzo/Luiz Alcazar, GH) and his unexplained interest in Todd and his family.
Rumorville:The buzz is that ABC is not just planning to cancel All My Childrenin the coming days but will very likely cancel One Life to Live,as
well. According to TVGuide, word is that ABC Daytime chief Brian Frons has a talk show and
reality show lined up for fall — both of them much cheaper to produce
than soaps — and he needs to clear the schedule. More disturbing,
insiders say Frons has been extremely cavalier about all this, showing
no signs of sorrow or regret about a dra... Continue reading ...
