SID reports that James Franco wants his real-life mother, Betsy, to play Franco's mom. What are the chances of the casting actually happening? When asked for comment, a GH rep responded with a sly "Maybe.

Rumorville: It's possible. Apparently there is a casting call out for someone who fits Brenda's
description, for one day only, at the end of Franco's storyline... There are also rumors that Brenda may be part of a fall storyline Guza has in the works.
Sam finds a beaten Jason in isolation.
Carter taunts Jason by saying/insinuating that he raped/will rape Michael.
Jason's reaction could prove lethal.
Dante has some serious doubts when Lulu claims that Brook Lynn is playing games.
Johnny kisses Kristina.
Alexis is furious with Johnny, Ethan and Sonny, blaming them for involving Kristina in their lethal games.
Olivia covers for Sonny, infuriating Johnny.
Franco comes to Alexis' office, she doesn't know who he is.
Luke leaves the Q household when Tracy won't forgive him.
Helena, the baby snatcher, again?

According to SID, GH will be making a big announcement on Tuesday, May 18th. Sources are hinting that they will be trumpeting the return of Vanessa Marcil as Brenda. Stay tuned...

Rumorville: Liz may discover that crying wolf lands her in trouble when she really needs help.
Liz tries to get Lucky's attention by fabricating a threat from Helena. When Lucky learns that Helena could not possibly have done the deed, he promises himself not to be drawn into the game the next time. What happens when down the road the threat is real?
Do Tracy and Helena make some kind of deal?
Liz's baby is born a Cassadine.
The Perfect Plan- Helena's plan is perfect or so she thinks. There is one thing that she cannot predict: Nikolas' and Lucky's reaction. Will there be a "coming together"?

Rumorville: According to a recent news article and interview in USA Today, James Franco is returning to GH this summer:
"For Franco, who returns to General Hospital this summer, it's
all a study in storytelling. 'Soap operas, yeah, generally people think
that's something to avoid, that's a 'low level' of entertainment,' he
says. 'But if you look at a lot of movies that are released in
theaters, they're just the same as soap operas.' ".
And so the on-again-off-again reports regarding a return by James Franco continue...

Rumorville: SOD states, contrary to what some fan reports said, that Franco will be back as soon as they can schedule it and the Cassadine story has only been pushed back, not scrapped. Zoe's entrance has been somewhat delayed (due to recent recasts).
Genie Frances MAY return this summer but is not yet in contract talks. Guza has told SOD, ""It is very much a part of our thinking now. We are not currently in negotiations, but I can easily see that from a story standpoint. I am not confirming this. I don't know this, but I would not be at all surprised if we brought her back this summer, assuming we can work it out with Genie’s very busy schedule."

Rumorville: Coleman is excused from juror duty. For a time Sonny's jury is unable to come to a unanimous verdict. . Michael confesses in an attempt to free his father but is not believed. It will be up to Dante to verify the evidence to back up Michael's confession. Meanwhile, someone is in lock-up and Diane may need to plan an insanity defense for Michael.
Spinelli and Maxie's romance may seem to be coming to an end.
Robin and Steve may find themselves on opposing sides from Patrick and Lisa...at least for a while.
Lucky may let the cat out of the bag, causing problems for his sister.
It may take Liz being willing to let go of Lucky to eventually bring about a renewal of their relationship.
